  • 🌱 The Final Phase Has Begun!

Our new building is so close to blossoming into the beautiful learning space our students deserve — and now we’re inviting our PVMS community to help bring this dream to life!

As we enter the final phase of our Room to Bloom campaign, our goal is to raise $50,000 to fully furnish and prepare our new classrooms, community room, outdoor areas, and more. Every gift — big or small — makes a meaningful difference in creating warm, purposeful spaces where our children can learn, explore, and thrive.

    ✨ Your Gift Helps Support:
    • Outdoor play spaces & landscaping
    • Classroom furniture
    • Security & cameras
    • Art, decor, and blinds
    • Community Room seating & technology
    • Teacher lounge furniture & supplies

🌸 Looking to make a lasting impact?
We’re offering a special opportunity to name our new Community Room with a $25,000 tax-deductible gift. This space will become the heart of our school for years to come — a place for learning, gathering, and celebrating together.

Let’s nurture this next chapter as a community.
💚 Join us in helping our students bloom!

    Be Part of the BLOOM!

Our Room to Bloom campaign is already blossoming thanks to some wonderful families!
Thank you for helping our new spaces come to life:

    The Chapdelaine Family

    The Bagge Family

    The Anderson Family

    The Waterhouse Family

  • Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Señor Andres, who is joining our team as our new Spanish teacher.

We look forward to the wonderful experiences and cultural enrichment he will bring to our students.

  • Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our Food Drive Friday so far! Your generosity has already filled over two full wagons of donations, and our contact at Rachel’s Table has shared how meaningful this support is for local families in need.

Tomorrow will be our final official Food Drive Friday, but please know that you are always welcome to continue donating pantry items. We will gladly make sure they are delivered to Rachel’s Table as we continue to support their mission.

  • Helping Children Use Their Words:

    Bugs and Wishes

One of the most helpful social-emotional tools that can be seen in our classrooms is called “Bugs and Wishes”. It’s a simple, powerful way for children to express their feelings and request change- especially when they’re frustrated or upset. The format is:

    “It bugs me when…

    I wish you would…”

    Why This Tool Matters

    • When children experience strong emotions (frustration, disappointment, or conflict) they don’t always have the words to express what’s bothering them. The “Bugs and Wishes” phrase gives them a format to begin communicating.

    • The “bug” part helps them identify what’s bothering them. The “wish” part encourages them to think about what they would like instead. This helps transition from reactive feelings toward solutions.

    • Over time, children who use this structure build stronger self-advocacy and conflict-resolution skills. They move from saying “Stop that!” to “It bugs me when you ___; I wish you would ___.”
