Toddler Montessori @Home - Sweeping On a Tray
Sweeping on a Tray: increases eye hand coordination, strengthens muscles used for wrist rotation and self-help skills.
You will need:
Tray or cookie sheet
something to sweep with - basting brush or a clean adult paint brush
masking tape - to make the line to separate the tray in half
Items to sweep- dried beans, dry pasta, rice…
Process:
Show your child how to sweep all the items to one side of the tray and back again.
