Tomorrow, Financial Aid opens to current families for the 2026-2027 school year.
We use the FACTS Tuition Management system to handle all personal financial information. Our financial aid committee then determines the awards. It is based on a percentage of tuition-to-household-income, but we provide an appeal process if your tax returns don't accurately reflect your circumstances.

If your child will be moving into Children’s House, Kindergarten, First, or Fourth Grade next year, we invite you to join us for an in-person “What’s Next?” discussion.
On Thursday, January 22 at 5:00 PM, each level will host an adult-only meeting to discuss what to expect for your child’s next stage at PVMS. Limited childcare will be available with advance sign-up.

The Importance of Observation in Montessori Education
Observation is one of the most powerful tools in Montessori education, and it plays a central role in how teachers support student growth. Dr. Maria Montessori believed that to truly help a child, we must first understand them- and the best way to do that is by watching with intention, curiosity, and respect.
In Montessori classrooms, observation is not passive. Teachers are trained to look for patterns in how children move, choose work, interact with friends, handle challenges, and show interest in particular materials. These observations help teachers see where each child is developmentally, what they are ready for next, and how they learn best.
A few ways Montessori teachers use observation daily…(find out on our Pioneering Progress Blog, linked here!)

We are delighted to share that Ms. Carmen, our Children’s House North teacher, welcomed her beautiful baby girl, Mila, on December 30th. Both Ms. Carmen and Mila are doing wonderfully and send their love and hellos to the entire PVMS community.
-
We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Holly as the Lead Teacher of our newest Toddler classroom. This February, she will begin welcoming newly enrolled students as the classroom comes to life. Ms. Holly brings a nurturing presence and a deep connection to early childhood development, and we’re excited for our community to get to know her.

Become a part of the PCO
Assist with organization/set-up in our new building
Ask your teacher how you can assist the classroom
and more!
If you have volunteered for events, such as hosting a trunk for the Trunk-or-Treat, assisting with our Harvest Day Celebration, joining PCO, or even volunteering at last Year’s Look Park field trip & Bubble Day, please log those hours so you are credited for that time!

Room to Bloom: Still Growing
Our Room to Bloom campaign continues to blossom thanks to the generous families who have already contributed. Your support is helping bring these beautiful new spaces to life.
There is still time to participate as the classrooms take shape. Families and individuals who contribute will be invited to a special grand reveal of the completed space in early February, where we’ll celebrate this shared effort together.
We are grateful to acknowledge the following families whose generosity is helping our Room to Bloom campaign come to life:
The Smith Family
The Webb Spann Family
The Hester-Moore Family
Thank you for helping our vision grow.
