Ways to Give

Development
As in most independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the everyday costs of providing the quality and the breadth of a Pioneer Valley Montessori School education. Development programs such as the Annual Fund and the Auction are critical in making up the difference.

The Annual Fund
Donations received to the Annual Fund allow us to provide enhancements to the programs at PVMS such as playground equipment, technology, music and art, as well as teacher training and financial aid.
The goal for this year's annual fund is to raise $25,000. The Annual Fund at PVMS makes a critical difference where our tuition revenues fall short. It helps to keep PVMS a high-quality independent school, with important curriculum enrichment programs that are often not available in public schools. To ensure that we deliver educational excellence to every child, we hope you consider contributing to the Annual Fund.

We are asking every one involved in our school, parents, faculty, staff and board members, to contribute what they are able to the Annual Fund. Every gift counts, no matter what the size.

Supanich Fund
The Supanich Fund, created in memory of former Head of School, Gail Supanich, is used for families who are facing a financial crisis. This fund enables a student to complete a school year, when otherwise he/she would have had to be withdrawn due to a parent's loss of job or illness.

We welcome donations to this fund.

Building Fund
We have begun to plan an expansion to the school, which will allow us to continue on through middle school. We are considering several plans, all of which will require a capital outlay. Please help us to create this much needed space by making a gift to the Building Fund.

Endowment Fund
We have begun an investment account, which is the beginning of an Endowment Fund that will secure the long term health and sustainability of Pioneer Valley Montessori School for generations to come.

Fundraising Events
The money raised at events throughout the school year by our community supports activities that are fun and meaningful for the children, such as picnics, Family Days, the Halloween Party, and Spring Performance.Recent fundraising events have included:
